Ruben:
  If you think of Groucho of
Sesame Street, think of the grinch and Christmas as you will
better understand Ruben. Ruben growls and grumbles but he always
does his job. Underneath that tough man exterior, I truly believe
there is a big heart. Ruben is one of our up and coming stars.
Short and stocky, Ruben has a nice jump and smooth gaits. He is
one of Chris's favorites in off summer lessons and several of the
boarders have taken him as their favorite as well.
 Often referred
to as Ruben on Rye, Ruben wears his leopard saddle pad that
one or our clients is so fond of using with only a faint hint of
embarrassment. I think he truly likes Nancy enough that he would
wear a clown hat if she asked him.
Ruben is used for walk, trot, beginner canter through beginner
jump. He is always a favorite of campers and riding staff alike,
and as soon as all accepted his grumpy, grumpy ways, we got along
fine!
