Our Winter camps have
become increasingly popular. We are limited to 20 campers by
heated accommodations. Dependent of weather, campers are able to
choose from a variety of programs listed above. But no worries!
We keep busy no matter what the weather! If we have snow, of
course we can work through the snow activities listed above. If
it's exceptionally warm (like it was in 2006), the kids might
just spend most their day outside, playing, hiking, riding
and more playing. If it's cold, but no snow, the arts and crafts
will be busy, as will the indoor games and don't forget about the
hot chocolate! Because Cedar Lodge has a indoor riding arena,
campers that come to ride will never be disappointed.

New to 2006, Cedar
Lodge offered a week long extensive vaulting clinic for those
that wanted a more in dept vaulting experience than what they
were able to get a camp. This clinic coincided with winter camp
and participants were still able to get in plenty of riding,
talking and playing time as well! It is a chance to catch up with
old friends and make new ones, say "hi" and spend time with your
favorite counselor, see what camp looks like in the snow. A new
use of Winter camp has been for those thinking about coming to
summer camp and wanting to check us out in a smaller environment.
Programming is more flexible and easier paced than summer
camp.
Adults at Winter
Camp?Recently we were asked once more, "Gee this looks like
fun. Can parents come?" The answer is, of course! Though we do
not allow parents to stay at the farm house with the campers, we
have accommodations for adults and/or families in our guest housing. Adults can
decide how much or little the choose to participate in the
activities and meals during their week stay. Younger than camp
age children may be able to participate in some activities with
parent supervision. Click here for price sheet.
