Archery

Very few of our campers have ever had a chance handle a bow and arrow before coming to camp. What a unique experience! Our program is run by an Archery  Instructor that not only has previous experience with archery, but has gone though an Archery safety clinic given by the National Archery Association hosted by Cedar Lodge previous to camp every year.  . Daily classes  in archery can be as fun as Archery games or as serious as working on the many levels of  Archery Certification offered by the NAA.

Cedar Lodge has it's own Archery range and a variety of bows for all levels, sizes and ages of potential archers. Beginners Archers are taught technique, safety, and sportsmanship. Over time, Intermediate and Advanced archers are given the chance to work on more advanced Archery certificates and participate in Archery games used to improve their skills.
