Dance Another spontaneous activity
for self-expression is the area of dance. Modern dance, a Sock
hop or a good old fashioned hoe-down are all available throughout
the summer for campers to join in and have fun.
  As we do with our drama program, we do not profess to be a
camp specializing in a high arts dance program. More, we believe
it is our job to encourage campers to experience something new
and provide them with the relaxed setting to have the guts to
experiment. Though our dance program use to parallel a
theme for the Party or Dance held every 2 weeks and take a back
seat to other more popular programs, we have seen the dance
program grow in popularity over past years. Daily classes in
modern, Irish, jazz, pop, bebop, ballet, folk and more are held
depending on camper interest.
  A Sunday performance for parents may be along any of the
themes of a mixture of many. Around camp dance times, lessons
will center around the theme of the party and campers will get a
chance to learn the dances relative to that theme.
