Minnow spent the first 10 years of her life in a pasture with her mother and 2 of her friends. She didn’t leave the pasture and she had never been ridden. Occasionally humans came by and gave her treats. Imagine her rude awakening when one day she was taken to Cedar Lodge with her family! Minnow was given to us “free” (even though Chris claims there is no such thing as a free horse) in the spring of 2021. She was not broke to ride, or even broke to lead. During the summer of 2021 she was carted off to “Boot Camp” to learn what it would take to be a good addition to our string. Since then, Kali and Kendra have been working hard to make sure Minnow is ready to add to our string. In the summer of 2022 we think she will be ready! Minnow is kind and sweet. She enjoys long walks in the woods, watching other horses work and carrots.
