Amira is all seriousness when you first get on her. She has nice training behind her, and not much fazes her…..except for maybe the goats…..and I’m not so sure they faze her as much as she’s fascinated by them. Amira is new to Cedar Lodge in 2017. She is a gift from one of our faithful camp/stable families, who knew Amira from another farm, knew she was looking for a new home, and thought we would be perfect for each other. So far, it’s a match made in heaven. Amira can be a little pushy on the ground, but she loves treats and she means well. Behind those big brown eyes is a sense of humor a mile wide. She is currently a walk, trot, canter horse but there’s talk of cross poles and vaulting in her future. With a broad back like hers, it’s worth a shot! She has a big trot and a lovely canter. I’m sure she will fit in nicely with our camp program. Besides, Chris finally got her palomino!
